Bathroom renovation in The Hague, Delft and Wassenaar, in English

Renovating a bathroom in a country where you don't speak the language can feel like a gamble. We take it off your hands: we help you in English, design your new bathroom with a 3D drawing, supply everything and have it installed by an experienced contractor. For homes in The Hague, Delft, Wassenaar, Rijswijk, Voorburg, Nootdorp, Pijnacker, Den Hoorn, Berkel en Rodenrijs and the towns around them.

Four bathrooms with brushed brass fittings: walk-in shower, double vanity, herringbone-tiled shower and freestanding bath

Moving to the Netherlands brings plenty of new things to figure out. Renovating a bathroom shouldn't be one of them. Whether you live in The Hague, Delft, Wassenaar or one of the towns in between, we make it simple: you tell us what you want in English, and we take care of the rest.

Help in English, from start to finish

You can reach us in English by WhatsApp, phone or email, and we guide you through every step in English: the design, the quote and the planning. No need to translate tile catalogues or technical terms. If something is unclear, just ask.

The booking form on our site is in Dutch, but you can simply fill it in and write your message in English. Or send us a WhatsApp message, that often works just as well.

We take everything off your hands

Most bathroom shops sell you the products and leave the rest to you. In the Netherlands that usually means finding a contractor yourself, getting quotes in Dutch and coordinating deliveries. We do it differently:

  • Design and 3D drawing. Bring the measurements of your bathroom (length, width and height, plus the position of the window, door and drain). We turn your wishes into a 3D drawing, so you see your new bathroom before anything is ordered.
  • A clear quote. You know what you get and what it costs before you decide.
  • Supply. Tiles, vanity units, taps, showers, baths and toilets from brands such as Geberit, Grohe, Hansgrohe, Duravit and Mosa.
  • Installation by an experienced contractor. We work with a trusted, experienced contractor who handles the strip-out, plumbing, waterproofing, tiling and fitting. You don't have to find or manage a contractor yourself.
  • One point of contact. One person who knows your project, from the first conversation to the final finish.

Already have a contractor you trust? That's fine too: we provide the design and the products, and your contractor installs them.

Where we work

The Hague

From apartments in the city centre and Duinoord to the townhouses of the Statenkwartier, Archipelbuurt and Benoordenhout: bathrooms in The Hague come in every shape and size. In older houses with wooden floors we check the joists and the drains before a heavy bath or a walk-in shower goes in. In apartment buildings the VvE often has rules about shared pipes, noise and working hours, and we take them into account in the design. In Ypenburg and other newer districts, many original bathrooms from around 2000 are ready for an update. Read more about a new bathroom in The Hague (in Dutch).

Wassenaar

Wassenaar has many detached houses and villas and is home to many international families. Bathrooms here are often more spacious, which leaves room for a freestanding bath, a large walk-in shower, a double vanity or an en-suite bathroom next to the master bedroom. We help you combine those wishes into one design and plan the work around your household.

Rijswijk, Voorburg and Leidschendam

Between Delft and The Hague you find everything from post-war flats with a VvE to family homes and new builds, for example in Rijswijk-Buiten. A compact bathroom often gains a lot from a walk-in shower instead of a bath and a wall-hung vanity. See Rijswijk and Leidschendam-Voorburg (in Dutch).

Delft

From canal houses and listed buildings in the historic centre to family homes and the neighbourhoods around TU Delft, we work in every part of Delft. In a listed building, some interior changes may need a permit; you can check this via the Omgevingsloket.

Towns around Delft

Many international families live in the newer neighbourhoods around Delft, and we serve them just as well:

  • Nootdorp, Pijnacker and Delfgauw: family homes, many built from the 1990s onwards. The original bathrooms are often ready for a new walk-in shower and a modern vanity.
  • Den Hoorn: right next to Delft, from older homes in the village to the newer houses in the Harnaschpolder.
  • Berkel en Rodenrijs and Bergschenhoek: spacious family homes, where a bath and a separate walk-in shower often fit side by side.
  • Zoetermeer and Wateringen: from compact terraced houses to newer districts with larger bathrooms.

The pages for these towns are in Dutch, but you can always contact us in English.

Visit our showroom in Delft

In our showroom you walk through more than 100 complete bathroom displays. You can feel the tiles, compare finishes such as matt black and brushed brass, and see how big a walk-in shower really is. Delft borders The Hague and Rijswijk, so it is a short drive from most of the region, with free parking. The showroom works by appointment only, so an adviser has time for you. You receive the address with your appointment confirmation.

Good to know when you rent or live in an apartment

  • Renting? Ask your landlord for written permission before you plan a renovation.
  • Apartment owner? The VvE (owners' association) often has rules about work on shared pipes, the floor, noise and working hours. Check the splitsingsreglement or ask the board. We take these rules into account in the design.
  • Listed building? For a monument, some interior changes may need a permit. You can check this via the Omgevingsloket.

Planning more than a bathroom?

Is the bathroom part of a bigger project, such as an extension, a new kitchen or a full renovation in The Hague? Then have a look at TheHagueContractor.nl, an English-speaking renovation contractor for The Hague and the surrounding towns.

Not a full renovation?

You don't have to renovate the whole bathroom to come to us. Looking for just a new bath, toilet, shower tap, tiles or a shower screen? You are just as welcome. See our bathroom products page (in Dutch) or simply ask us in English.

Book your showroom visit and write your message in English. We will get back to you to plan a moment that suits you.

Frequently asked questions

Do you really help in English?

Yes. You can contact us in English by WhatsApp, phone or email, and we guide you through the whole project in English: the design, the quote and the planning.

Do you work in The Hague and Wassenaar?

Yes. We renovate bathrooms throughout The Hague, including Statenkwartier, Benoordenhout, Archipelbuurt, Duinoord and Ypenburg, and in Wassenaar, Rijswijk, Voorburg, Leidschendam and Delft.

Do you also work in Nootdorp, Pijnacker, Den Hoorn or Berkel en Rodenrijs?

Yes. We also work in Nootdorp, Pijnacker, Delfgauw, Den Hoorn, Berkel en Rodenrijs, Bergschenhoek, Zoetermeer, Wateringen and the other towns around Delft, all in English if you prefer.

Is the showroom in Delft far from The Hague?

No. Delft borders The Hague and Rijswijk, so the showroom is a short drive away, with free parking. It works by appointment only; you receive the address with your appointment confirmation.

Do you also install the bathroom?

Yes. We work with an experienced contractor who handles the strip-out, plumbing, tiling and installation. You keep one point of contact, so you never have to coordinate between a shop and a contractor yourself.

Can I use my own contractor?

Of course. In that case we take care of the design and the products, and your own contractor installs them.

I rent my home. Can I renovate the bathroom?

You need written permission from your landlord first. If you own an apartment, check the rules of the VvE (owners' association), especially for work on shared pipes or the floor.

The booking form is in Dutch. Can I still use it?

Yes. Just fill it in and write your message in English. Prefer something simpler? Send us a WhatsApp message or an email in English and we will plan your visit.

What does a new bathroom cost?

That depends on the size of the room, the products you choose and the condition of the floor and pipes. After your showroom visit you receive a 3D drawing and a clear, no-obligation quote.
